Introduction

From the very first strokes played to try and win the point, the student can see how difficult it is to play effectively.

He or she will have to plan their game around a primary strategy. This game plan can be more or less flexible, and will enable the student to stabilise their newly diversified range of strokes as an attack or defence against the opponent's game.
